2012 - Ubon Ratchathani
The night after our wedding in Ubon Ratchathani — Pla’s hometown — we wanted to do something special for our friends and family who had traveled from near and far: from different parts of Thailand, Dubai, America, and Canada. To thank them for being part of our big day, we arranged a short trip together to Khong Chiam, a charming riverside town where the Mekong and Mun Rivers meet.
The group enjoyed the peaceful nature, fresh air, and the beauty of northeastern Thailand. We also explored one of the country’s most famous heritage sites nearby, giving our guests a chance to experience authentic Isaan culture and history. It was the perfect way to extend the wedding celebration — turning it into a shared journey of love, family, and discovery.
