🕘 Itinerary

06:30–07:00 Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai

  • Scenic 1½-hour drive through rural landscapes — mountain rivers, rice fields, and banana plantations.


08:30 Arrival at the Sanctuary

  • Warm welcome and change into traditional Karen clothing.

  • Receive an introduction about the sanctuary and elephant conservation from your local guide.

  • Prepare fruits and snacks for the elephants.

  • Feed the elephants from a respectful distance while learning about their diet, habits, and personalities.

  • Sip herbal tea from the village while watching the elephants roam freely in their natural forest habitat.


10:30 Hands-On Experience

  • Learn how to make herbal medicine balls — a natural digestive aid for elephants.

  • Participate in tree or grass planting to support future elephant food sources.

  • Continue observing the elephants as they eat, play, and interact peacefully with their herd.

12:00 Local Lunch
